Combined Actors in association with Bawds present Laura Turner’s Cranford at Christmas, adapted from the Cranford stories by Elizabeth Gaskell.

Deep in the frosty Victorian countryside, chestnuts are roasting and carols are being sung as the folk of Cranford busily prepare for Christmas. There we join Miss Pole, Miss Matty and Mrs Jamieson, warming their frozen hands on cups of steaming cocoa and bedecking their houses with holly and mistletoe.

But events take a sudden turn when disaster strikes and the community must unite to keep the spirit of Christmas alive in this heart-warming tale of charity and goodwill.
